Delete your account and data

This page explains how to delete your SponsorFort login, your organisation and the compliance records you have stored — whether you use SponsorFort on the web or through the mobile app, and even if you have already uninstalled the app.
Delete your organisation and its data (in the product)
- Sign in and open Settings → Data & privacy.
- Organisation deletion is owner-only and asks you to type the organisation name exactly, so it cannot happen by accident.
- Deletion starts a 7-day grace period, after which the organisation’s records — workers, right-to-work checks, events, deadlines and every document in the evidence vault — are permanently removed. It cannot be undone once the grace period passes.
- You can export a full copy of your data from the same page before deleting.
Delete your login (by request)
To delete your personal login and the personal data associated with it (your email address and account profile), email hello@sponsorfort.com from the email address on the account with the subject “Account deletion request”. We verify the request against that address and complete deletion within 30 days. If you are the only owner of an organisation, we will ask you to delete or transfer it first so its records are not orphaned.
What is deleted, and what may be retained
- Deleted: your login, profile details, organisation records, workers, checks, events, deadlines and vault documents (after the 7-day grace period for organisation data).
- Retained where the law requires it: minimal billing/tax records tied to any past payments, held only as long as UK accounting rules require.
Details of what we store and why are in the privacy policy. The mobile app stores no compliance records on the device — signing out removes the session from that device.
